Providers must be board-certified, experienced with EPIC EMR, and eligible for Colorado licensure with active DEA registration.
ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking urgent December Gastroenterology call coverage, with ongoing monthly needs into 2025. Providers must be able to perform ERCP and handle a high-acuity inpatient environment at a Level 1 Trauma Center. This is a 24-hour call role involving scoping, emergent GI procedures, and consultative care.

- Future Dates: January March shifts released after Dec 7 is filled
- Shift Structure: 24-hour call (7a 7a)
- Frequency: 5 7 days/month, ongoing into 2025

- Duties & Required Procedures:
- ERCP (required)
- EUS
- Endoscopy
- Scoping
- GI bleed management
- Evaluation of acute GI issues
- Consult Service Only: GI does not admit patients
- Patient Population: Adult, geriatric, adolescent (pediatric trauma 15 years old & 50 kg)
- Volume:
- 8 10 admissions/consults per day
- 5 8 scopes/day
- Support Staff: None
- EMR: EPIC
- Reason for Coverage: Coverage gaps + locum break periods in 2025 (Jun/Jul/Aug)
- Hospital Resources:
- 24/7 intensivists & hospitalists
- 24/7 trauma services

- Credentialing Pre-app & Full App required to generate AD account (may take up to 5 days).
- EPIC Modules (self-paced)
- EPIC Virtual Training (PPL) must be completed 1 week before start date
- Providers must answer the following during submission:
- Years of EPIC experience
- Last use of EPIC (MM/YYYY)
- Last facility that used EPIC
- High-resolution photo for badge
- Time zone (for scheduling training)
- Best phone number for call
- Best email for credentialing & onsite systems
- Timeline: days standard; 1 2 weeks for emergency privileges (clean file)

- Requirements:
- Self-query NPDB report
- Active CO license or IMLC (LOQ required at submission)
- Immediate submission of pre-app & full app
- Billing Enrollment: Not replacing an existing enrolled provider
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- ERCP-capable (must be stated in presentation)
- Gastroenterology Fellowship
- Active CO License or IMLC (LOQ in hand)
- Active DEA (transfer acceptable, but must remain active entire assignment)
- Availability for December dates
- Willingness to stay at preferred lodging
- Understanding and acceptance of EMR training requirements
- Clean malpractice/background (priority if NPDB self-query provided)
- Local/drive-in candidates highly preferred
