Respiratory Care Practitioner / Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: New York, NY 10038
Job Duration: 9 Weeks (Contract)
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift: 5×8-Hour Day Shifts
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (includes a 60-minute break)
Hours per Week: 40
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) experience (Required)
- Experience working in a fully functioning pulmonary lab
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (Preferred)
- New York State Respiratory Therapist License (Required)
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program (A.A.S. or B.S.) (Required)
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical ventilation and ventilators (Required)
- Intubation experience (Preferred)
- Proficiency with computer applications and documentation systems (Required)
- BLS certification (Required)
- ACLS certification (Preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience with:
Spirometry
Plethysmography
DLCO
6-Minute Walk Test
Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
