Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT (R)(MR) certification, BLS, and at least 2 years of MRI experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital MRI unit
• Day shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend requirement includes Friday as part of regular schedule and on-call shifts
• On-call required one night per week and one full weekend every fifth weekend
• No floating required
• Charting system is Centricity
• Philips MRI experience is preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted with application; no RTO accepted after submission
• Modules are completed during orientation with the first 8 hours non-billable
• PA fingerprints are required and may require travel for completion
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a different rate

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT (R)(MR) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an MRI Technologist
• Valid state license or certification required if applicable
• References and copies of certifications are required for consideration
