Position Overview
The Labor & Delivery RN provides comprehensive care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients in a high-acuity hospital setting. This role requires recent hands-on L&D experience, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to manage both maternal and newborn care while meeting strict compliance and orientation requirements.
Experience Required
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Experience must be within the last 6 months
- Must have postpartum couplet care experience
Required Certifications
Licensure Requirements
- Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license
- Pending licenses are not accepted
Scheduling & Unit Requirements
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday requirement: Every other holiday
