ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Locum Anesthesiologist to provide hospital-based coverage at its facility in NJ. This role involves a wide range of anesthesiology services, including general, regional, cardiac, thoracic, and complex vascular procedures, as well as supervision of CRNAs. The position offers a potential locum-to-permanent opportunity and requires an active New Jersey medical license.

Schedule: Variable based on surgical and hospital needs
Includes weekday, night call, and weekend call coverage (call schedule TBD)
Credentialing timeframe: Estimated days
Provide anesthesia care for:
General surgical (adult) cases
IV regional and plexus anesthesia
Open heart and thoracic (non-open heart) procedures
Complex vascular cases
Spinal, regional, and local infiltration anesthesia
Manage ventilation and perform invasive line insertions, including:
TEE, PA catheter, arterial line, and central line placement
Supervise CRNAs during procedures
Document patient care using Cerner EMR
Participate in call rotations per department schedule
Board Certification in Anesthesiology Required
Active New Jersey Medical LicenseRequired (no licensing wait)
ACLS and BLS Certifications (AHA)Required
Fellowship in Cardiac AnesthesiaPreferred
Proficiency in:
Open heart, thoracic (non-open heart), and complex vascular anesthesia
TEE, PA catheter, arterial line, and central line insertion
