Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician (Near Mission, TX) Are you a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a vibrant community near Mission, TX? We're looking for skilled and experienced physicians to join our team and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced Level III trauma center. The contract is for 3 months (with the possibility to extend) and offers a competitive compensation package. What We Offer: High Patient Volume & Advanced Care: Our Level III trauma center sees approximately 45,000 patients annually, with a steady growth trajectory. Experience a dynamic environment with an average of 2.2 patients per hour. Comprehensive Coverage: We offer comprehensive patient care with 36 hours of physician coverage per day, supported by 36 hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverage. Advanced Facilities & Technology: Our well-equipped facility features 22 treatment rooms, advanced imaging capabilities, and dedicated units for stroke care, PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention), women's health, and labor & delivery emergencies. 24/7 Specialist Support: Benefit from round-the-clock coverage by intensivists and hospitalists for critically ill patients. Flexibility & Engagement Bonus: We offer schedule flexibility with up to 120 hours per month available (1099 Independent Contractor status). Ask about our engagement bonus program!
