MS/Tele RN - Night Shift Contract Position
ScheduleThis position operates on a night shift, specifically three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
Job DescriptionProviding high-quality nursing care within a Cardiac Unit for adult and geriatric patients. This role involves monitoring patient stability and administering medications and treatments as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a telemetry setting and be capable of interpreting dysrhythmias.
Responsibilities- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
- Manage the care of patients with cardiac conditions, including the use of rapid response teams.
- Perform peripheral line care and management.
- Administer oxygen and manage non-invasive airway techniques.
- Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Must have NY RN license in hand for submission.
