Position Overview: Profession: Physician Specialty: Anesthesiology Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Shift Type: Day Schedule & Responsibilities: Work Schedule: Standard Shift: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM). No Call: The position does not require any on-call responsibilities. Practice Setting: The hospital features a diverse range of procedures, including: Orthopedics and orthopedic trauma General surgery and general trauma Spine surgery, neurosurgery Cardiac catheterization lab (cath lab) Ambulatory procedures and endoscopy The department operates with 11 ORs in the main hospital and 2 in the ambulatory surgery center. The locum physician will not be assigned to obstetrics (OB) cases. Patient Volume: The daily patient census ranges from 50-60 cases, ensuring a busy and engaging workday. Electronic Medical Records (EMR): The hospital utilizes Cerner and SaAnesthesia systems for efficient documentation and patient management. Requirements: Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology. Licensure: Must hold an active Arizona medical license, with IMLC licensure also accepted.
