The job is for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with urgent care and emergency medicine experience to work at two outpatient urgent care clinics in Maine. The role involves performing basic urgent care procedures such as incision and drainage, suturing, reading X-rays and EKGs, immunizations, and lab studies during 12-hour shifts. The position is temporary with a start date of 9/30/25 and includes full support staff, EMR training, and requires relevant state licensure and certifications.
Looking for an NP/PA with Urgent Care experience ASAP!
Provider will be traveling between 2 clinics: Augusta and Farmington, ME.
Near Bangor, Maine
Outpatient - Urgent Care Centers
NP/PA
Start: 9/30/25
End: 11/30/25
2 months with option to extend
Credentialing: 30 days
Schedule: 8A-8P - 3 12/hr shifts
Patient Volume: 28-32
Procedures: B asic Urgent Care- incision/drainage, suturing, reading X-Rays and EKG's, immunizations, wounds/infections, lab studies. They do have a Radiologist who will follow up on X-Ray reads
EMR: Experity- UC specific EMR, will have training in orientation
License: ME license- PA's taking 8-10 weeks, need ASAP start
Certifications: DEA, BLS, (DOT preferred but NOT required)
Relevant Exp: EM/UC experience required
Additional Info: Full support staff on site.
Providers required to have EM experience.
Client prefers someone local to Maine OR in the New England area.
