We are seeking a skilled Pain Medicine Specialist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Texas, beginning Jan 1, 2026. This opportunity offers day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm. The provider will serve as the sole pain management doctor, utilizing both interventional and non-interventional techniques to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic pain. Job Details Location: Texas Start Date: Jan 1, 2026 LOA: 60 days Provider Type Needed: Pain Management Physician Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm Responsibilities and Duties Serve as the sole pain management physician at the facility Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic pain conditions Utilize a multidisciplinary approach to reduce pain and improve patient function Employ both interventional and non-interventional pain management techniques Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility requirements Additional Information Medical degree from an accredited institution required Completion of an accredited residency in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology, or Family/Internal Medicine Fellowship training in Pain Medicine required Board certification or board eligibility in Pain Medicine required Valid medical license in Texas required DEA registration with appropriate schedules for prescribing controlled substances required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
