Assignment Details - General Surgery (Call Only)

We are seeking a board certified/eligible General Surgeon for ongoing Locum Tenens coverage starting ASAP in a stable, community-focused Tennessee hospital.

Call Only - 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)

Duration: Ongoing need, starting November 14, 2025.

Patient Volume: Approximately 14 patients per day (Inpatient/Outpatient).

Required Procedures: Experience with General Surgery, Colonoscopy, and Hernia required.

EMR System: MEDHOST

Credentialing: Quick 14-day credentialing timeline.

• Setting: 114-bed short-term acute care hospital in Central Tennessee.
• Designations:Joint Commission Accredited, Chest Pain Center Accreditation, and Sepsis Certification.
• Service: Provides comprehensive care, including 24-hour Emergency Services, Inpatient, Outpatient, and Telehealth services.

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Active Tennessee (TN) Medical License or IMLC is REQUIRED.
• Board Certification/Eligibility in General Surgery.
