ICU Nursing Job Details

• Location: Glens Falls, NY 12801 (New York ICU nursing jobs)
• Facility: 16-bed Intensive Care Unit with overflow capacity
• Assignment Type: Travel ICU RN
• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• End Date: February 28, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday; no on-call required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990-$2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of RN experience, including 2.5 years in Critical Care or ICU
• Active New York RN license (NY nursing jobs)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• EPIC charting experience required; Cerner experience preferred
• De-escalation training (Welle, CPI, or PMCS) required
• Ability to float to Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units (max 4 patients)
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (religious/medical documentation accepted)
• Must not have worked as staff at this facility in the past year or full-time within the AMC network in the past six months

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with critical conditions
• Monitor and manage invasive pressure, cardiac, and oximetry equipment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
• Participate in de-escalation and crisis intervention procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC and Cerner systems
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Comply with all facility policies, including shift cancellation and vaccination requirements
