Seeking a Pediatrics Physician in California to manage pediatric and adult patients with a focus on chronic pain management and timely chart closures. Candidates must have controlled substance education, appropriate immunizations, and relevant licensing, including DEA registration. The role involves a typical 18 patient visits per day schedule, Monday to Friday, with credentialing processes requiring 30-60 days.

Candidate CVs need to have the month & date on their work experience w/all gaps in employment accounted for.
Includes some Chronic Pain Management
Chart closure within 72 hours
Schedule = 18 PPD, minimum to see 18 PPD
Monday-Friday 8-5
Mix of peds/adults
A decision is typically made within 7-14 days
APC's with 3 years of experience in a similar setting
PAs must have a CA Controlled Substance Education Course Certificate
NPs must have a Furnishing License with Schedules II
Active DEA needed before the start
Credentialing takes 30-60 days (six weeks is standard for Locums who submit app./documents timely)
The following immunizations are required for credentialing (before the start date): Flu Vaccine, TB Status/X-Ray Results (results must be within 90 days before the start date), Positive MMR Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Positive Hep B Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Positive Varicella Zoster Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Tdap Immunization (must be within the last 10 years),
COVID requirement:
Primary series plus booster, regardless of the date received
OR
1 dose of the current COVID vaccine (2023/2024 formulation)
HCO & Vendor agree to a 30-day notice for ending all assignments.
