Job Title: CT Scan Tech / Radiology (R) - Mids
City/State: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Shift: Mids, 11:00-23:30, Mon-Tues-Weds, 4 days of call per month
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:
Technologist provides professional, timely, accurate, diagnostic C-T examinations of specific anatomy as prescribed by the referring physician and within compliance of established delineated policies and procedures. Must provide C-T care to patients for the purpose of obtaining diagnostic quality radiographs for interpretation by the radiologist.
Responsibilities:
- Performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
- Demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures.
- Knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross sectional anatomy.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience required.
- ARRT CT required.
- CT & Xray experience required.
- Graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Licensed by the state as a general radiographer.
