Locums - Columbia, South Carolina, CRNA (Float Pool) Opening (Willing to License)

Schedule & Coverage:
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• 40-hour work week (must be full-time, no part-timers)
• Schedule: 4x10s weekly
• Float pool coverage - will rotate to ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) in Lexington, Irmo, and Northeast Columbia
• Expected rotation: up to once weekly at an ASC, occasionally twice
• If cases finish early at ASC, provider must return to main hospital to complete shift
Facility & Department Details:
• Large department of 70 CRNAs and 15 anesthesiologists under Medical Direction Care Team model
• Settings: Main OR, ASCs, IR, Cath Lab, EP, OB, MRI, etc.
• Average 150 anesthetics per day across all settings
• Patient population: 18 - Geriatric (very limited pediatrics; travelers not included in peds cases)
• Support Staff: Anesthesia techs
• Practice Setting: Hospital - Medical Center & Surgery Center
• EMR: Epic (highly preferred)
• Special Equipment: Glide scopes, Alaris IV pumps, Draeger anesthesia machines
Case Mix:
• General Surgery
• GYN
• Orthopedics
• Urology
• Vascular
• No regional or block skills required
Requirements:
• Board Certified NBCRNA - Required
• Active SC License - Required (Compact License Accepted; willing to license if compact)
• DEA - Required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS - Required
• Minimum 3 years' experience - Required
• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
