Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital position requiring at least 1 year of acute care and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Position is based primarily in an outpatient physical therapy setting with occasional coverage in acute care and inpatient rehab
- Work schedule consists of 3x10 hour day shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 to 17:30
- On-call rotation occurs every seven weeks for coverage as needed
- Must be able to float to acute care and inpatient rehab as required
- Epic EMR system is used and previous Epic experience is required
- Attire is Caribbean blue or khakis with lab coat
- Holiday coverage is rotated, with expectation to work one holiday per year
- 70 mile radius rule applies; local travelers are not accepted
Requirements
- Current state PT license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care PT experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred
- Two professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years are required
