Job Overview:
Seeking an experienced Med-Surg RN for a critical travel assignment. This role provides direct patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. Floating between departments or local units within 20 miles may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol
- Document patient care and responses
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Supervise LPNs and non-licensed personnel as needed
- Complete age-specific and protocol-based education and competency testing
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years Med-Surg experience
- At least one 13-week travel assignment completed
- State RN License (NM or Compact)
- BLS certification (AHA, American Health & Safety, or equivalent)
- Team-oriented, flexible, and able to work in fast-paced environment
