American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of GE CT experience and ARRT (CT) certification for a night shift role in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities- Work in an acute care environment on the CT Tech unit
- Department has 2 GE scanners with an average of 50-60 scans per day
- Shift is Wednesday to Saturday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, 10-hour night shifts
- Handle both inpatient (ages 15 and up), outpatient, and ER cases
- Perform general CT studies using GE equipment
- EMR charting is done in Epic and PACS via McKesson
- Holiday coverage rotates with permanent staff
- At night, the team consists of one X-ray and one CT technologist
- One week of department-specific orientation is provided
- Responsible for performing a full range of general CT studies
- Professional scrubs of any color are acceptable
- Radiologist support is off-site after 5 PM and on weekends
- Teamwork and independent work skills are essential
- Driver’s license must be provided
- Candidates must not have worked directly for a CommonSpirit facility in the past year as a direct employee
- Holiday and weekend scheduling is according to department and contract guidelines
- Minimum of 2 years CT technologist experience with GE equipment required
- Certified CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) and BLS certification
- Active WA state license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
- Must provide a radiation badge
- Experience starting IVs is preferred
- Must be able to function independently and as part of a team
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from the last 12 months, one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years
