The Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology provides patient-centered cardiac care by assessing, diagnosing, and managing heart conditions in a clinic setting. They collaborate with cardiologists to develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and interpret diagnostic tests while educating patients on heart health. This role requires a valid Nurse Practitioner license and strong communication skills to deliver compassionate care in a supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and manage heart conditions such as coronary artery disease (CAD), heart failure, and arrhythmias in a clinic setting.
- Collaborate with cardiologists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and order/interpret diagnostic tests, including EKGs, Echocardiograms, Stress Tests, and Holter Monitors.
- Educate patients on heart health and lifestyle modifications.
- Handle necessary paperwork to ensure seamless cardiac care.
- Deliver comprehensive, team-based care in a non-hospital environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California
