Job Description
American Traveler is recruiting an experienced RN for a rehab inpatient position on the 3 South CVA unit requiring an active KY or compact license and NIHSS certification.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a rehab hospital on the 3 South CVA unit
- Primary patient population consists of rehabilitation and post-stroke care
- Day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
- 13-week contract assignment
- No local travelers accepted per 50-mile radius rule
- CPI training may be completed onsite as a condition of employment
- All travelers must submit required documentation, including active certifications and clear work history
- Scrub requirements and team structure details will be shared during onboarding
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license with no license violations
- Minimum of 2 years recent rehab nursing experience
- Current AHA certifications; cards must not expire in the start month
- Active NIHSS certification required at time of consideration
- CPI training required for all RNs (can be completed onsite)
- Must provide explanation for any work history gaps of 3 months or more
- Fully vaccinated for Flu and COVID-19 (no exceptions)
- US Social Security Number is required; Canadian SSNs not accepted
