The position seeks a board eligible or board certified gynecologist to provide comprehensive gynecologic care including preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include patient visits, counseling, coordination with consultants, and potentially supervising advanced practice providers. The role also involves on-call duties, compliance with health regulations, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
Hospital is seeking a BE/BC Gynecologist.Join our team of exceptional and talented gynecologists who offers complete gynecologic care, including prevention and wellness exams that catch the early signs of certain cancers and other chronic issues. Major Responsibilities:Provides services commensurate with the specialty of the physician including new patient visits, follow up visits, urgent visits, and annual visits.Provides counseling and teaching, related to the management and prevention of disease, for patients and family members.Provides comprehensive care as needed including, complete history and physical examination, review of the available medical record, ordering of appropriate laboratory, imaging and other diagnostic testing to formulate diagnoses and treatment plan.Collaborates and communicates with consultants.Serves as a resource for the training and orientation of new colleagues.Manages in-basket tasks to provide safe, effective, and timely care for the patient and communicate effectively with staff and provider colleagues.Provides on call services commensurate with needs of the ambulatory practice.Provides ER call services and inpatient call services if required by any hospital delineation of privileges.Demonstrates a commitment to on-going quality improvement; complies with institutional and departmental policies and procedures; complies with health and safety regulations; performs other similar and related duties as required and directed.This role may involve supervision and or training of advanced practice providers (APPs).Our Benefit Highlights:Relocation Bonus of up to $5,000Tuition ReimbursementLoan ForgivenessMatching 401k and Pension PlanGenerous paid time offCME Time and Practice AllowanceTop Tier Medical Insurance (Health/Dental/Vision)Requirements: Current Massachusetts State License, Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration.
