Senior Estimator Key Responsibilities
- Lead estimates for commercial construction projects ranging from $500K to $5M
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and self-performed scopes (e.g., carpentry, drywall)
- Manage hard bid, negotiated, and design/build proposals
- Generate schematic estimates and support value engineering initiatives
- Analyze subcontractor scopes, conduct buyouts, and present to stakeholders
- Partner cross-functionally to align estimating with project delivery goals
Senior Estimator Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering
- 10+ years of post-degree experience in estimating for commercial GCs
