Job Purpose:
- The ER Technician II is responsible for all basic patient care duties and assists with direct patient care to provide support services to the patients, families, and other Emergency Services staff. This includes, but is not limited to, therapeutic treatment as ordered by the physician on duty, operation of laboratory equipment, patient discharge and education.

Job Requirements:
Education:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Licenses and/or Certifications:
- Current Texas EMT-P certification (license required) or National EMT-P Certification
- Current Basic Life Support Certification required
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support Certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification required within 90 days of hire
Work Experience:
- 1 year of work-related experience - preferred
