Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures, including gynecology, orthopedics, general surgery, and cardiovascular cases. They work shifts administering anesthesia to 2-5 patients per shift, primarily in hospitals utilizing EMR systems such as Epic, requiring licensure and board certification. CRNAs are critical in operating rooms, monitoring patient vital signs, and ensuring safety during anesthesia administration with credentialing processes lasting 60-90 days.
