How you'll make an impact

We are hiring for an Intermediate Financial Analyst on our Gallagher Bassett Team! At Gallagher Bassett, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations, particularly in managing client banking processes, ensuring contractual compliance, and maintaining reconciliation documentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in detailed analyses, process improvements, and workflow automation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive best practices and scalable solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong technical financial analysis dedicated to understanding the complex contractual relationships with our clients and ensuring the banking process follows these terms appropriately
  • Ensure consistent, scalable processes to ensure accurate and timely client banking replenishments based on contractual relationship with clients
  • Ensure appropriate controls, procedures and escalations to allow for appropriate oversight and notification
  • Work to drive best practices to ensure the scalability and consistency of processes
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, Account Executives, Clients and Finance groups to ensure controls are appropriately applied, especially in relation to client contracts
  • Ensure organizational delivery target dates are consistently being met
  • Perform ad hoc analyses for operational and financial management and to support business needs.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation of workflows.
  • Utilize a variety of financial concepts, practices, and procedures to achieve goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Strong proficiency in PC and Microsoft applications.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivots, VLOOKUPs, and macros.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel expertise and complex data analysis.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to interact with clients, producers, account managers, external vendors (i.e. banks), as well as strong written communication skills.
