We are currently seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in York, PA.
What you can expect at your practice:
- Fulltime position assisting cardiac surgeons in the operating room during complex surgical procedures
- Performs patient rounds with accurate assessment of patient's physical status, overall progress, and current laboratory evaluation
- Determines and orders appropriate investigative studies and therapeutic regimens as outlined by supervising physician
- Manage postoperative care, including monitoring patients for complications, managing pain, and coordinating discharge planning
- Experience in a cardiac surgery setting preferred; no new grads considered at this time
