You ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across multiple Richmond clinic locations to improve community health and deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
Responsibilities as the Physician (Internal or Family Medicine):
- Comprehensive Patient Care: Deliver full-scope primary care, including exams, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Preventive Medicine: Promote wellness through screenings, education, and immunizations to support long-term health.
- Diagnosis & Treatment Planning: Interpret lab and imaging results to develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, specialists, and behavioral health professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on health maintenance, medication adherence, and lifestyle improvement.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution; successful completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Licensure & Certification: Active Virginia medical license and current DEA registration required.
- Experience: Proven background providing comprehensive primary care in an outpatient or community health setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and general medical documentation.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of preventive medicine, diagnostic evaluation, and federal/state medical regulations.
- Skills & Attributes: Compassionate and communicative healthcare professional with strong diagnostic acumen, leadership ability, and commitment to patient-centered care.
