This position is for a licensed Audiologist based in Washington, responsible for conducting diagnostic hearing assessments, interpreting results, and providing hearing aid evaluations and fittings. The role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered audiology care, maintaining hearing devices, and supporting diverse patient populations. Based at a reputable clinic, you will perform comprehensive diagnostic testing, interpret results, and provide tailored solutions including hearing aid evaluations and fittings. Key Responsibilities: Conduct diagnostic hearing assessments such as pure tone air and bone conduction tests, speech audiometry, and impedance audiometry for diverse age groups. Interpret test results accurately and collaborate with physicians for appropriate medical follow-up. Recommend hearing aids, ear protection, and other interventions based on patient needs. Perform hearing aid evaluations, determine suitable amplification, and fit devices while providing detailed operational guidance. Maintain and troubleshoot hearing aids purchased through the clinic, ensuring optimal device performance. Required Skills: Active Washington State Audiology license or eligible for Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC). Successful completion of a Master s or Doctorate degree in Audiology, including clinical practicum experience; AuD from a board-approved institution with Certificate of Clinic Competency preferred. Proficiency in diagnostic testing and interpretation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to educate and support patients. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Nice to Have Skills: Experience working with pediatric and geriatric populations. Familiarity with advanced audiology software and hearing aid technologies. Bilingual abilities are a plus. Preferred Education and Experience: Master s or Doctorate Degree in Audiology from an accredited program. Prior clinical experience in a similar setting is desirable. Other Requirements: Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling if required. Willingness to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on hearing devices.
