Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a home health contract in Sioux City, IA, requiring 2+ years of experience and an active state license if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Home health position serving patients in the community
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to manage and provide patient care
- Typical schedule is day shifts, starting between 7:00 and 9:00 AM, five days per week
- EMR system used is Epic
- Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required
- As a team member, you will contribute clinical expertise to patient care planning and management
- Orientation consists of 16 hours of training
- May interact and collaborate with multiple disciplines and sites
- Winter holiday coverage requires working 2 out of 3 major holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving)
- Limit of 1 day of requested time off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
- Candidates must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent physical therapy experience required
- At least 1 completed travel contract required
- Active state license required if applicable
- All certifications must be active at time of consideration; pending certifications are not accepted
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- One supervisory reference from within the last 2 years required
