The position is for a Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon in Carmichael, California, responsible for performing trauma and acute surgical procedures and managing critically ill patients. The role includes collaborating with medical teams, providing patient care pre- and post-operation, and contributing to education and protocol development. Candidates must be board-certified in General Surgery with licensure in California and may work per diem or full-time shifts.
We are actively seeking a highlyskilled and experienced Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon to join our dynamichealthcare team in Carmichael, California. As a member of oursurgical department, the successful candidate will play a crucial role inproviding exceptional trauma and acute care services.
Schedule: Per Deim or Full Time - 4-10 Shifts per month
Qualifications:
- Medical degree and completion of anaccredited General Surgery residency program.
- Fellowship training or significantexperience in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery.
- Board certification in GeneralSurgery.
- Licensure to practice medicine in thestate of California.

Responsibilities:
Trauma Surgery: Performa wide range of trauma surgeries, including emergency procedures for complexinjuries. Demonstrate expertise in managing critically ill and injuredpatients.
Acute Care Surgery: Provideacute surgical interventions for a variety of urgent and emergent conditions,such as abdominal emergencies and sepsis.Collaborate with medical teamsto ensure comprehensive acute care for surgical patients.
Patient Care: Conductthorough assessments, diagnosis, and develop treatment plans for trauma andacute care patients.Provide pre-operative and post-operative care tooptimize patient outcomes.
Collaboration: Collaboratewith trauma surgeons, emergency medicine physicians, intensivists, and otherhealthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.Participatein multidisciplinary case conferences and contribute to the development oftrauma and acute care protocols.
Education: Contributeto the education and training of medical students, residents, and healthcarestaff in the field of trauma and acute care surgery.Stay informed aboutthe latest advancements in trauma and acute care and share knowledge within theteam.
