Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med Surg night shift position in Massachusetts requiring an active MA RN license and AHA certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Med Surg unit within a hospital setting
- 36 hours per week, 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:15 pm to 7:15 am
- Every other weekend and rotating holiday shifts are required
- Patient charting is done using Epic EMR
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team caring for diverse adult medical-surgical patients
- Local candidates are accepted but must reside more than 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to receive standard pay rates
- Parking may incur additional daily costs and public transportation is available
- Timekeeping is managed through Kronos/UKG
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required at the time of consideration—no pending licenses accepted
- Certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Flu vaccine required with no exemptions allowed
