Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a WI or compact RN license and at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg unit with occasional pediatric surgical patients including ENT or ortho cases
• Hospital setting with 12-hour variable shifts
• Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Float to similar units and other locations including Howard Young, Tomahawk, and Eagle River, with pre-scheduled floating possible
• Low census on-call status may apply with a 2-hour call back minimum
• Uses Epic for charting
• Must comply with company masking policy during flu season if declining COVID or flu vaccination
• Scrub color is flexible and any color is acceptable
• Eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours per contract
• Floating is pre-scheduled when needed
• Holiday coverage is required per schedule

Requirements

• Active WI or Compact RN license required
• AHA or Red Cross BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
