Job Details:
• Work 8-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Scheduled 5 days per week
• On-call requirements: 1 night per week, every 5th or 6th weekend (Saturday/Sunday), and rotating holiday call
• Must be well versed in all surgical procedures as there are no specialized teams for each service line
• Work with adult, geriatric, pediatric, and obstetric patients
• Handle various surgical cases including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, general surgery, and DaVinci robotics
• Float to Pre/Post op, PACU (if trained), and ER for trauma cases as needed
• Work in 7 operating rooms and 2 endoscopy suites
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must pass open book skills exam during orientation with 90% score to continue
• One week of department-specific orientation in the OR
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Driver's license required for submittal
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• Must live more than 50 miles from facility and cannot be employed with any CommonSpirit affiliated facility
