Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring a GA or compact RN license and multiple advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7pm to 7am, 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for patients in an acute emergency environment
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
• Must work at least 2 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day
• Also required to work at least 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
• Permanent staff wishing to return as a traveler must have a 2-year break
• RTO must be requested up front for consideration
• Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided during onboarding

Requirements

• Active GA or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Department experience required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required
• Must provide copies of AHA certifications at time of consideration
