Endocrinologist Opportunity in San Antonio, TXPosition Summary:Clinic is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This role will serve a community with high demand for endocrinology services, particularly diabetes management, with an estimated 220,000 diabetics in the area and a shortage of specialists. Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive endocrinology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to improve patient outcomes.
- Manage a diverse caseload including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, and other endocrine conditions.
- Develop individualized evaluation, diagnostic, and treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, lifestyle changes, and medication compliance.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex cases and treatment strategies.
- Stay current on endocrinology advancements and best practices through ongoing education. Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution and board certification in Endocrinology.
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Texas.
- Strong clinical skills, dedication to patient-centered care, and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
