The role excludes open heart, regional, thoracic, pediatric, and certain other anesthesia types, and utilizes the EPIC EMR system.

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Hospital-based
Responsibilities: General surgical anesthesia (adult), spinal anesthesia, neurosurgical cases, ventilation management, local infiltration
Required Procedures: See above (No open hearts, regional anesthesia, central lines, OB, thoracic, or pediatric cases)
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: Collaborative practice model alongside physician anesthesiologists
Days Per Month: 15+
On-Call/Weekends: As needed; no on-call required
Submission Requirements:
Board Certified Required
ME State License Preferred (open to those willing to obtain)
BLS, ACLS Required
Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma center experience as CRNA Required
