Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts with potential for backup coverage once weekly
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Daily caseload of 6-8 procedures per technologist
• Weekend coverage required every 5th or 6th Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• On-call coverage from 4:00 PM to 7:30 AM during weekdays and Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Required certifications: ARRT R and BLS required, ARRT VI preferred
• Required skills: C-Arm and Contrast experience mandatory
• Work with Siemens Bi-plane equipment for neurovascular image acquisition and post-processing
• Perform diagnostic cerebral angiograms including coiling, stenting, embolizations, and stroke thrombectomies
• Handle venous samplings, operating room angiograms, lumbar punctures, and neurovascular procedures
• Position patients for neurovascular imaging and circulate cases (scrub experience not required)
• Some pediatric procedures performed
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Dress code: Black, red, or white scrubs
• Float within service line as needed
• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract

This major academic medical center is a short-term acute care teaching hospital and Level I trauma center with 1,259 staffed beds. The facility features a comprehensive neuro-interventional radiology department with 3 procedure rooms and state-of-the-art equipment including Siemens Bi-plane systems. The department works in collaboration with neuroradiologists and neurosurgeons from a prestigious university medical school, providing advanced neurological care and cutting-edge interventional procedures. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Epic electronic health records throughout the healthcare system.
