Machine Operator - 1st Shift
Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join their team in Appleton, WI. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, enjoy fixing and troubleshooting, and have a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Appleton, WI
Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour - depending on experience
Shift: Monday – Friday from 7:00am-4:30pm with flexibility for early or late hours a few times a week
What's the Job?
- Operate and monitor nailing machines to ensure smooth production
- Perform light maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery
- Sort pallet components and feed acceptable materials into the machine
- Adjust machine settings during runs to address any issues
- Build pallets according to customer specifications and inspect for quality
What's Needed?
- At least 2 years of machine operating experience preferred
- Mechanical inclination and ability to perform light maintenance
- Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing 50 pounds or more
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work well with others and follow safety procedures
