An Occupational Medicine Physician provides outpatient occupational health services including medical clearance exams, workplace injury evaluations, and fit-for-duty assessments. The role involves managing 10 to 15 patients daily without advanced practice provider support and includes EKG, pulmonary function testing, suturing, and wound care. The position requires New Jersey licensure, certification as a Medical Review Officer, and experience with telehealth and electronic medical records (Epic).
Coverage Needed
- December 8, 2025 - January 23, 2026
- 4 days per week, 8 AM to 2 PM
- Credentialing takes 90 + days on average.
Clinical Details
- Outpatient Occupational Health
- Patient Load: 10 to 15 patients per day
- No Call
- EKG, PFT, possible suturing, wound care
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: No APP support, Solo locum position
Requirements
- Must have NJ license
- Experience in occupational medicine through primary care, urgent care, or occupational health
- Experience may include performing post-offer medical clearance exams, evaluation and management of workplace injuries, fit for duty exams
- Certified as a Medical Review Officer (MRO)
- Telehealth experience
