Seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Technologist to support its Cardiac Cath Lab. The technologist will assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced acute care environment. This is a traveler-friendly facility with frequent extension opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Scrub and monitor during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures
• Prepare patients and equipment for Cath Lab procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and hemodynamic data during procedures
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of Cath Lab equipment
• Accurately document procedures using EPIC EMR
• Float to EP lab and other Cath Lab locations as required
• Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols
• Participate in unit-specific orientation and ongoing training
Required Certifications
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• RCIS or ARRT (CI)
