Job Title: NP/PA, Neonatology in FL Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Neonatology team in Florida. The position offers varied shifts to provide comprehensive care to our neonatal patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat neonatal patients under the supervision of neonatologists.
- Participate in daily rounds, create treatment plans, and communicate with the healthcare team.
- Perform procedures such as intubations, umbilical line placement, and lumbar punctures.
- Provide education and support to families related to neonatal care and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with medical regulations.
Requirements:
- Current NP or PA license in Florida (or willing to get)
- Certification in Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) required.
- Prior experience in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights and weekends.
