What You'll Do:

• Monitor and manage access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry and protect sensitive areas within the location.
• Answer and coordinate incoming calls, radio communications, and dispatch requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Document and relay information regarding incidents, emergencies, and/or unusual activities to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with emergency response activities, following established protocols and site-specific procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a secure environment and promote compliance with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or contractors with inquiries and directions as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of all dispatch activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Support regular communication with security-related personnel stationed at various posts throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
