- Provide comprehensive Neuro-Ophthalmological evaluations for conditions affecting the visual pathways and eye movement control.
- Diagnose and treat visual problems related to the nervous system, including unexplained or sudden vision loss.
- Perform Neuro-Ophthalmologic testing, including:
- Visual acuity and visual field testing
- Pupillary reactivity assessments
- Color perception evaluation
- Ocular alignment testing
- Optical coherence tomography (OCT)
- Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment options, and ongoing care plans.
- Collaborate within a strong interdisciplinary team that includes:
- RN, MA, Neuro-Ophthalmology Technicians, MSW, Patient Support Coordinator, PT, OT, and Vestibular Rehab.
- As part of a national Multiple Sclerosis Society Partner in MS Care, contribute to high-quality care for MS patients.
- Conduct General Neurology visits as needed while building the Neuro-Ophthalmology practice.
