This role is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) working night shifts in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), responsible for patient assessments, respiratory care procedures, and equipment management. The position requires an associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, valid licensure, and certifications such as BCLS and ACLS. The therapist performs critical care duties, blood gas analysis, and patient education to support clinical care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Previous Working Experience in Respiratory care, or successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS. Must be actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies.
