Telemetry RN – Quick Overview Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (Phlebotomy a plus) License: Illinois RN (required to submit) Unit: 18 beds | Ratios: Days 4–5, Nights 5–6 Patients: Stroke, CHF, ACS, CAD, post–heart cath, arrhythmias Experience: 2+ years recent Tele; post-cath recovery (femoral/radial) & stroke care preferred; drip experience required Drips: Set—Cardizem, Amio, Dopamine | Titrate—Heparin Telemetry: Yes (central monitoring; RNs sign off on strips) Support: CNAs (acuity-based), RT (BiPAP, High Flow) Schedule: 12s (0700–1930 or 1900–0730); every other weekend; holiday rotation Floating: ICU/MS/ER within scope; ER boarders Orientation: 2 × 12-hour shifts Scrubs: Any color Note: Prior FHN Memorial employment must be disclosed (DNU check) Entered: 1/19/2024
