Job Overview
A skilled nursing facility in Eureka, Kansas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for an RN who prefers day shifts and is comfortable working a rotating 36/48-hour schedule while providing consistent, resident-focused care in a long-term care environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
- Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes
- Coordinate care with LPNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure resident safety and compliance with facility policies and procedures
Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas or compact state (if applicable)
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
- Ability to work rotating 36/48-hour schedules
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
