Lovelace Medical Group is hiring an inpatient/outpatient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, to join our Colorectal Surgery Team at St. Joseph Square. This inpatient/outpatient position s role is to see /do surgical clinic patients, learn clinic-based procedures, and assist with inpatient surgeries and rounds to support the surgeons at St. Joseph Square Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
About the Position:
- Practice Location: St. Joseph Square and Lovelace Medical Center, both in Historic Downtown Albuquerque
- This role will primarily support the colorectal surgeon in a multidisciplinary general surgery practice with other APPs primarily supporting the other surgeons
- The current colorectal surgery team includes the surgeon, a nurse, a medical assistant, and collaboration with the other surgeons and APPs
- Mon-Fri, 8 - 5
- EMR: Epic
- Expected patient load of 12-24 per day in clinic, with some days assisting in the operating room
- No call required
