Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult, OB, and healthy pediatric cases
Setting: Level 2 Trauma Center, OR, OB, CVICU
Responsibilities:
8 12 weeks/year in CVICU with home call coverage
General OR coverage, OB, and healthy peds cases during remaining weeks
Shared OR call proportionate to ICU time
Teaching and protocol development
Required Procedures: General anesthesia, CVICU care, OB anesthesia
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: APPs, surgical and ICU teams
Days Per Month: Negotiable
On-Call/Weekends:
Home call during ICU service weeks
Weekend rotation as per ICU/OR schedule
Submission Requirements:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology Required
Michigan License or Willing to Obtain Required
Fellowship-Trained in Critical Care Medicine Required
BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA (or willing to obtain) Required
Current COVID and flu vaccinations Required
Clean malpractice and license history Required
Note visa requirements (J1/H1B) Required
