Job Details:
- Reason for Coverage: A retiring physician and another on medical leave.
- Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC/EMR
- Average Number of Office/Clinic Patients per Locum per day: 25
- Physicians in Group: 4
- Patient Age Demographic: Adult, Geriatric
Credentialing Information:
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days; candidates need to obtain hospital privileges at Maryview Medical Center
- Average Number of Inpatient Admissions Per Physician Per Day: N/A
- Presence of Other Cardiologists: No
- Requirement to Supervise Other Health Care Providers: No
Travel Reimbursement Information:
- All bookings must be standard/economy.
- Lodging must be within $150/night.
- Any expenses exceeding this amount must be approved by the facility.
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified (Echocardiography/Nuclear Stress): REQUIRED
- ACLS Certified: REQUIRED
- VA License: Highly preferred (accepting providers needing to obtain a license; must be active by May start)
- Non-Invasive Procedures: Echocardiography, Treadmill Stress Tests, Electrocardiograms (EKGs) - REQUIRED
Shift Description:
- Outpatient Clinic: Monday to Friday from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
- Weekend Requirements: N/A
- On-Call Requirements: N/A
