Locums Pediatrist needed at a hospital in Western North Carolina.
Clinic and Call coverage needed.

Practice Setting: In-patient and Out-patient
EMR: MediTech
Patient Load: 25-30 patients per day
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
Must be board certified
Temporary privileges are available
Hospital/Surgery Center privileges required
Schedule:
- 3- 5 days per week in the facility. Patient schedule begins at 8:30A, with last patient seen at 4:45P. Call schedule requirements include
- 1 full weekend per month beginning Friday at 7A until Monday 7A.
- Up to 10 days of call coverage per month which includes weekend call. 1 weekend a month (Fri 7A-Mon7A) and 2-3 days in the office
Job Duties:
- Service pediatric patients in office setting from infant to 19 years of age
- Pediatric rounding at birth center
Facility Profile:
- 9 exam rooms with three full time providers that see patients Mon-Fri. We also have a PRN neonatal APP that assist with 1-2 days of call coverage per month.
- Provider's schedules are currently built to see 25-30 pts per day with 15 minutes simple sick, established pts, med follow-up type of appointments and 30 min appointments for WCV, New patients, ADHD, sports physicals and DSS evaluations
- We offer commercial and state vaccines. Birth center currently delivers an average of 15-25 births per month
- Birth Center offers 10 postpartum rooms and can service up to 12 infants in the nursery
- Nearby facilities in SC currently assist with any NICU transport needs.
